Writing Songs for More Than Forty Years

What began with handwritten lyrics and melodies became binders filled with songs spanning life, humor, love, loss, family, faith, good times and the occasional bad decision. For years, many of those songs existed only on paper or in the room where they were written. This record changes that.

What was missing was never the songs. It was the studio, the players, and the time it takes to turn a page of words into a record you can hold.

How the record got made

The songs are Steve's. Some were written decades ago, others more recently, but all of them came from the same notebooks and the same years of writing.

What was missing for a long time was access: musicians, a studio, the time and money it takes to turn a song on a page into a finished recording. Modern recording and production tools, including AI-assisted production, closed that gap.

That technology didn't write these songs. It gave a songwriter a practical way to record and share work that had been waiting for decades.
